Refund Policy

This Refund Policy (the “Policy”) applies to purchases of products and services (collectively, the “Services”) made through the divigo.ca website from Divigo Inc., operating as “Divigo” (“Divigo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions. By purchasing any Services, you agree to the terms of this Policy.

General Principle

Unless otherwise expressly stated in this Policy or required by applicable law, all fees paid for Services are non-refundable. Because our Services are largely digital and delivered on an ongoing or access basis, we encourage you to review your purchase carefully before completing it. Where you believe a refund is warranted, we will review each request in good faith and in accordance with this Policy.

Subscriptions and Recurring Billing

Many of our Services are offered on a subscription basis with automatic renewal, as described in our Terms and Conditions. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account, and the cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not, on its own, entitle you to a refund of fees already paid for the current billing period. You will continue to have access to the applicable Services until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Renewal Charges

Because subscriptions renew automatically, we recommend disabling automatic renewal before your renewal date if you do not wish to continue. If you are charged for a renewal and contact us within five (5) business days of that charge, before making significant use of the renewed Service, we will consider a full or partial refund of the renewal fee at our discretion.

Free Trials

Where a Service is offered with a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the Service will convert to a paid subscription and the applicable fee will be charged. Fees charged after a trial converts are subject to the same terms as other subscription fees under this Policy.

Eligibility for Refunds

We may, at our discretion, issue a refund in circumstances including but not limited to the following:

  • You were charged in error or charged an incorrect amount
  • You were charged more than once for the same Service due to a technical fault
  • A paid Service was not delivered or was materially unavailable due to a fault on our part, and we were unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time

Refunds are generally not available in circumstances including but not limited to:

  • Change of mind after a Service has been accessed or substantially used
  • Failure to cancel a subscription or free trial before a renewal or conversion date
  • Partial use of a subscription period
  • Circumstances where your account has been suspended or terminated for a breach of our Terms and Conditions

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] with your account email, the Service in question, the date and amount of the charge, and a brief description of the reason for your request. Submitting a request does not guarantee that a refund will be issued; each request is assessed on its merits and in accordance with this Policy.

How Refunds Are Issued

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Our issuance of a refund confirms only that we have submitted the refund to your payment provider. We have no control over when the refund will post to your balance, as posting time frames are set by your payment provider or issuing bank and may range from a few business days to a full billing cycle, or longer.

Where your payment provider or issuing bank imposes limitations on refunds, or where a refund to the original payment method is not practicable, we may, at our discretion, issue the refund as an account credit of equivalent value.

Chargebacks

If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve it. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account while the matter is investigated. We reserve the right to pursue all lawful remedies in relation to chargebacks that we determine to be unwarranted.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time, effective upon posting of an updated version on the Website. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. Continued use of the Website and Services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
